Laura Elen is one of the best international Welsh singers and Entertainers on the Costa del Sol. Laura Elen beat many singers on the Costa del Sol in a contest for singer entertainer of the year 2006. Laura travels frequently from Spain to Wales to venues in the Swansea area and south Wales valleys. Laura sings in many of the 5 star hotels on the Costa del sol as she has tailored her show in Spain for the hotel environment.
Laura Elen won the Costa del Sol singer of the year 2006 which was held at the Torrequebrada Casino hotel, beating more than 500 entrants to the competition. More than 600 people packed into the auditorium to witness the grand final. Laura Chose the songs "I who have nothing", by Shirley Bassey and "Somewhere" by Barbara Striesand. The event raised 24,000 Euros for Cudecca the charity for their cancer hospice here in Spain.
