LAURA ELEN WELSH SINGER ENTERTAINER
Laura Elen is one of the best international Welsh singers and entertainers on the Costa del Sol. Laura Elen arrived on the coast in 2004, and quickly established herself in the top hotels and cabaret venues, due to her beautifull voice and professionalism. Laura came to Spain for a change of scenery after singing in Wales for ten years, and has succesfully cemented herself as one of the best entertainers on the Costa del Sol.
IRISH WEDDINGS
Irish weddings are very popular on the Costa del Sol and Laura has sung in many of these weddings over the last few years. The Sunset Beach hosts many of these weddings, and Laura is the popular choice to perform as her repertoire consists of religious and catholic songs and arias. Laura can sing acapella or with the necessary backing music.
SINGER OF THE YEAR
Within a year of arriving on the coast, Laura Elen won the Costa del Sol singer of the year 2006, which was held at the Torrequebrada Casino hotel, beating more than 500 entrants to the competition. More than 600 people packed into the auditorium to witness the grand final. Laura Chose the songs "I who have nothing", by Shirley Bassey and "Somewhere" by Barbara Streisand. The event raised 24,000 Euros for Cudeca, the charity for the cancer hospice here in Spain.
